\u201cPartnerships for every child\u201d in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and the local public authorities invited the professionals who are developing the Early Years Support Programmes for children with special needs – Portage and Makaton \u2013 for a 3-day seminar in Chi\u0219in\u0103u. The goal was to share experience and disseminate the best practices achieved in the 5 pilot sites. The event was facilitated by an expert from the United Kingdom.<\/p>\n
The above mentioned programmes are part of the four early years support programmes for children with special educational needs: Makaton, Portage, Mellow Parenting and Communication through Music delivered by the NGO \u201cPartnerships for every child\u201d under the \u201cImproving access to community-based early years and pre-school support services for vulnerable children with special needs in Moldova\u201d project.<\/p>\n
The project is implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, Ministry of Health, Labour and Social Protection and the District Councils of 5 districts: Cahul, C\u0103l\u0103ra\u0219i, F\u0103le\u0219ti, Nisporeni and Ungheni. The overall objective is to provide access for children with special educational needs aged 0-7 and their families to support programmes developed within the above mentioned project. The project amounting to EUR 680,000 is funded by the European Union.<\/p>\n
