{"id":6433,"date":"2018-04-18T13:52:39","date_gmt":"2018-04-18T11:52:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p4ec.md\/?p=6433"},"modified":"2026-01-08T20:14:50","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T18:14:50","slug":"children-without-parental-care-in-alternative-care-services-to-receive-daily-allowances","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/p4ec.md\/en\/children-without-parental-care-in-alternative-care-services-to-receive-daily-allowances\/","title":{"rendered":"Children without parental care in alternative care services to receive daily allowances"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Children temporarily or permanently without parental care, placed in Professional Foster Care, Family-Type Children\u2019s Homes, Guardianship\/Curatorship, Community Homes for Children at Risk, and Placement Centers for Children Separated from Parents, will receive allowances from the 5th grade until they reach the age of 18.<\/p>\n<p>In this regard, the Government has approved the Regulation on Establishing and Paying Daily Allowances for Children, aiming to improve the material well-being of children in family- and community-based care services, as well as to develop their skills in managing personal funds responsibly and efficiently.<\/p>\n<p>The daily allowance will be as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>10 MDL per day on regular days;<\/li>\n<li>100 MDL on the child\u2019s birthday;<\/li>\n<li>70 MDL on public holidays: New Year, Christmas, Easter, and Children\u2019s Protection Day.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Additionally, the daily allowance will be indexed annually on April 1 according to the previous year\u2019s consumer price index.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, approximately 2,600 children will benefit from the daily allowance.
