{"id":7045,"date":"2026-03-04T10:01:07","date_gmt":"2026-03-04T08:01:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/p4ec.md\/?p=7045"},"modified":"2026-03-04T10:03:30","modified_gmt":"2026-03-04T08:03:30","slug":"the-well-program-provides-support-to-teachers-and-students-in-chisinau-in-managing-stressful-situations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/p4ec.md\/en\/the-well-program-provides-support-to-teachers-and-students-in-chisinau-in-managing-stressful-situations\/","title":{"rendered":"The \u201cWELL\u201d Program Provides Support to Teachers and Students in Chisinau in Managing Stressful Situations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"195\" data-end=\"497\">Students and teachers in the municipality of Chisinau continue to receive support to cope with stress generated by various situations, including in contexts of crisis or instability, and to contribute to creating a safe and friendly school environment through their participation in the \u201cWELL\u201d Program.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"499\" data-end=\"758\">The Program provides students with simple tools that help them understand and manage their emotions, better cope with difficult situations, and achieve improved academic results, including during exam periods or in contexts marked by uncertainty and pressure.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"760\" data-end=\"992\">In this regard, from March 4\u20136 this year, 120 teaching and managerial staff from educational institutions in the municipality of Chisinau are participating in a training workshop on the implementation of the Program\u2019s three modules:<\/p>\n<ul data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1949\">\n<li data-start=\"994\" data-end=\"1340\">\n<p data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1340\"><strong data-start=\"996\" data-end=\"1028\">The \u201cWELL for Youth\u201d Program<\/strong> (formerly \u201cBetter Learning for Youth\u201d), designed for upper secondary school students, aims to develop essential emotional and educational skills for a balanced transition to adulthood. At the same time, the program provides practical stress management techniques, including in the context of final examinations.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1342\" data-end=\"1615\">\n<p data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1615\"><strong data-start=\"1344\" data-end=\"1368\">The \u201cWELL 2\u201d Program<\/strong> (formerly \u201cBetter Learning 2\u201d), intended for lower secondary school students, supports them in recognizing and better managing stress, developing resilience, and improving their academic performance, including in the context of final assessments.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"1617\" data-end=\"1949\">\n<p data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1949\"><strong data-start=\"1619\" data-end=\"1643\">The \u201cWELL 1\u201d Program<\/strong> (formerly \u201cBetter Learning 1\u201d) contributes to improved concentration during lessons and active engagement in the learning process. The recovery component of the program focuses on children\u2019s well-being and is based on five principles which together form a simple and effective psychosocial support system.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"1951\" data-end=\"2689\">According to Ana Palii, Project Manager at Partnerships for Every Child (PPFC), \u201cThis program has been implemented in the Republic of Moldova since 2022, initially under the name \u2018Better Learning Program.\u2019 Starting this year, PPFC continues its implementation under a new name \u2013 \u2018WELL\u2019 \u2013 adapted to the realities of our country. Through this program, we provide children with emotional support and access to inclusive education. We help children displaced from Ukraine and those from host communities to learn better and achieve their goals, while teachers and social specialists are prepared to create a safe and friendly environment for all students. Approximately 2,300 children will benefit from the three programs,\u201d stated Ms. Palii.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2691\" data-end=\"3214\">In turn, Cristina Savin, Education and Youth Programme Coordinator, NRC Moldova, mentioned: \u201cThe WELL Program represents a substantial effort to provide teachers and students with practical tools to cultivate and maintain well-being in today\u2019s volatile reality.
