With the support of UNICEF, activities under the parenting programme \u201cPEACE \u201d have started in \u0218tefan Vod\u0103. The programme provides a dedicated space for parents and caregivers who want to build closer and healthier relationships with their children.<\/p>\n
Over the course of three sessions, participants will have the opportunity to reflect on their own experiences, share the challenges they face in their parenting journey, and discover practical ways to communicate and manage everyday situations. The programme also includes interactive parent-child activities, allowing families to practice together the skills and approaches they learn.<\/p>\n
The first session focused on getting to know each other and creating a safe environment based on respect, trust, and openness. Parents had the opportunity to share their experiences, challenges, and concerns related to raising and educating children, while also reflecting on their own wellbeing and how it influences the wellbeing of their children.<\/p>\n
Through joint activities, parents and children had the opportunity to spend quality time together, interact, and enjoy moments of connection. Strong family relationships built on trust, emotional safety, and affection represent the foundation for children\u2019s healthy development and a supportive family environment.<\/p>\n
The programme will also be implemented for parents from Dondu\u0219eni, Drochia, Soroca, Flore\u0219ti, Anenii Noi, and C\u0103u\u0219eni districts, as well as from B\u0103l\u021bi municipality. To ensure the delivery of activities in these communities, 20 facilitators \u2013 specialists from the North-East, North-North-West and South-East Territorial Agencies of Social Assistance \u2013 were trained at the end of September. They will guide parenting groups and provide practical support to families in developing relationships based on empathy, communication, and trust.<\/p>\n
The PEACE programme is implemented by A.O. \u201cPartnerships for Every Child\u201d within the UNICEF project \u201cBetter Care for Children\u201d, financially supported by the Government of Sweden, in collaboration with the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Republic of Moldova.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
