Summer school for ABC members

Between 2 and 6 July 2012, a summer camp was organized for the members of the Advisory Board of Children of Calarasi, Falesti, and Ungheni. The event took place in Vadul lui Voda, “Odiseu” resort station. The goal of the summer school was to consolidate the competences of Calarasi, Falesti, and Ungheni ABC members. The following objectives were met within the event:

1. Experience exchange of the ABCs accumulated within one year of activity;
2. Children’s capacity building in monitoring and evaluation of social services (foster care and family-type homes);
3. Training in the promotion of the Child’s Helpline service and in the Understanding of Disability;
4. Planning of further activities of the mentioned raions’ ABCs;

54 children – 15 boys and 39 girls – participated in the summer camp.
