01/06/2015

On the International Child’s Day traditionally celebrated on the 1st of June, Partnerships for Every Child (P4EC) organized several interesting events, both for children and for their parents.

Thus, on 31st May P4EC participated in an event organized by the Ministry of Education, Republican Centre for Children and Youth “Artico”, and UNICEF Moldova, in Chisinau Central Park of Saint Stephan the Great. Supported by the organization’s volunteers, we managed to inform parents and grandparents about the activity of our organization and the projects we implement. All those who visited P4EC’s court received informative materials and a small gift on behalf of the organization.

But most activities were organized for children – they painted, drew pictures, participated in various contests and funny activities, building towers and homes, writing their dreams on a big sheet of paper, etc. The activities were organized with the support of the animators of “Ingenium” educational centre.

The following day, on the 1st of June, supported by three volunteers we headed since the very morning to Criuleni, where a concert hall full of people – parents and children – was waiting for us impatiently for a concert to start, where recital of exceptional artistic presentations was cordially offered by the pop-star Adrian Ursu and young talents of Criuleni region.

The singer came to support the seven brothers and sisters from Miscauti, Criuleni, whose story had been published in our organization’s previous newsletter. These children need a home in order to be able to live together, and to support them, P4EC launched awareness and fund-raising campaign “A house to unite a family”.
