Steering Committees are organized in 11 Districts of Moldova

Local Steering Committees are organized in this period within the Project “Children in Moldova are cared for in strong and secure families”, which is implemented by the P4EC in collaboration with 11 districts of the Country. This year, our NGO’s representatives together with decision makers and relevant structure’s headers discussed about the activities provided in the activities plan and the way the were developed. The participants have also approved the activity plan for the year 2016.

On the Steering Committees agenda were included topics related to project activities hold in each district, monitoring the reintegration of children of the in liquidated residential institutions, the school inclusion of these children, progresses in the development of social services, training and new programs to be held, etc.

Local Steering Committees are created to ensure the sustainability of the project actions and to strategically guide the project implementation process, and also to facilitate the decision-making process for the achievement of the common objectives.

Partnerships for Every Child is implementing the project “Children in Moldova are cared for in safe and secure families” funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that will last till June, 2017 and has the a goal to improve the safety, wellbeing and development of highly vulnerable children, particularly those who are living without adequate family care.
