This Family Care for Children with Disabilities: Practical Guidance for Frontline Workers in Low- and Middle-Income Countries (hereinafter “the Guidance”) represents a collaborative effort made possible by the contributions of experts in the field of childhood disability around the world. Special thanks are extended to the children and families and to the social service workers who participated in the field testing and review process. The development of this Guidance would not have been possible without the collaboration and commitment of Vasylyna Dybaylo and Larysa Pietushkova at Partnerships for Every Child (P4EC) Ukraine and Mona Aika at UNICEF Rwanda, who fully supported the process through their diligent facilitation of the field testing and review. We also sincerely thank Esperance Uwicyeza at the Government of Rwanda’s National Commission for Children, for her in-depth assessment and thoughtful comments on the draft Guidance. Sincere thanks to Joanna Rogers, P4EC Consultancy Group, who provided insightful comment and suggestions as preliminary peer reviewer at each stage of development…
