12/03/2019
Partnerships for Every Child (P4EC) is launching a new group for mothers with babies aged up to 18 months from Chișinău municipality, to participate in the “Mellow Parenting” parental education program.
The program includes 14 group sessions, held once a week, in which parents participate together with their children. The sessions are organized in a group format and include presentations and engaging discussions on child development, various aspects of mothers’ lives after the arrival of a baby, as well as joint mother–child activities such as mealtimes, creative activities, and more.
The “Mellow Parenting” program aims to support parents in developing parenting skills at different stages of a child’s development, starting from the prenatal period and continuing until preschool age. The program is based on the principles of attachment, social learning, and cognitive behavioral theory.
Mothers who wish to participate in the program are invited to send a request by email to office@p4ec.md or call 069 662 123 by March 20, 2019.
P4EC has over 20 years of experience in developing programs focused on preventing child abandonment and institutionalization, supporting social rehabilitation and family reintegration. The organization’s ultimate goal is to ensure a safe and protected future for children who are separated or at risk of being separated from their families and communities.
