Communication Campaign “Bring the future home”

The campaign titled “Bring the Future Home” aimed to raise public awareness about the importance of raising children in a family environment and the negative effects of institutionalization. Through various media channels, the campaign promoted community-based social services for children and families, encouraging state authorities and local communities to support family-based care and to resort to institutionalization only as a last-resort protection measure.
Key outcomes of the awareness campaign “Bring the future home”:
- Radio and TV debate programs, and articles in the print media;
- Social performance “Apple Blossoms” presented at the Mihai Eminescu National Theatre;
- Radio and TV marathons organized and broadcast by Teleradio-Moldova;
- Five documentary films about alternative services and the risks of institutionalization;
- 29 newsletters and 3 bilingual professional journals;
- Promotional materials visible in public spaces (billboards, stickers, etc.);
- 20 journalists trained (from both national and local media);
- National and international conferences, including the launch conference of the Child Care System Reform, held under the auspices of the President of the Republic of Moldova;
- Five video spots and three audio spots broadcast.
