Members of the Advisory Board of Children in Taraclia District gathered for a new training session dedicated to World Children’s Day, celebrated annually on November 20.

The event also focused on the Child’s Right to Participation and active involvement in the activities of the Advisory Board of Children. Board members shared their work experiences and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to learn and participate in the monitoring and evaluation of local programs and policies for children and youth, particularly in the field of social services.

Adults supported the children in realizing their rights to participation, development, expression, and leisure/recreation, while providing opportunities to further expand their knowledge on legal and social topics through interactive activities and educational games.

Lilia Sarsaman, Head of the Taraclia Education Directorate, appreciated the students’ engagement: “It is very important for children to express their opinions, be active, and take part in all events organized by the Education Department. This will help them grow and develop.”

At the end of the session, students and teachers present received certificates and gifts in recognition of their active participation and involvement in the process.
