Practical implementation guide — The system for preventing the separation of children from their families

This guide was developed to support the process of strengthening the system for preventing the separation of children from their families, and is based on an analysis of positive practices implemented in the Republic of Moldova. The guide is intended for professionals in the field of social assistance and aims to facilitate understanding and implementation of the provisions of the Framework Regulation governing the activity of the Commission for the Protection of Children in Difficulty, as well as to harmonize approaches and procedures within the system for preventing the separation of children from their families.

The guide was developed by the Ministry of Social Protection, Family and Child, with technical support from the project “Support for the Delivery of Efficient and Sustainable Social Assistance Services”, implemented by OPM/EveryChild Moldova and funded by DFID/SIDA.
