Summer camp for young advisors

The members of the National Advisory Board of Children (NABC) and Advisory Boards of Children (ABC) of 10 regions will participate on 27 June – 8 July this ear in a summer camp organized by Partnerships for Every Child (P4EC).
Natalia Semeniuc, child participation consultant at the P4EC, mentioned that the summer camp expects 200 child participants this year, who will be involved in numerous training, fun, and cultural activities.
“Participation in the summer camp offers the ABC members a possibility to communicate, exchange ideas related to the activities realized during the year, and to identify activities for the coming period”.
The camp will be organized in two shifts for the NABC and ABC members coming from Cahul, Calarasi, Causeni, Falesti, Nisporeni, Orhei, Singerei, Soroca, Telenesti, and Ungheni regions.
The event is organized within the project “Children in Moldova live and grow in safe and secure families”, implemented by P4EC with the support of USAID.
The National Advisory Board of Children and the Advisory Boards of Children in 10 regions represent a form of association of children and young people, allowing them opportunities to express own opinions, implement own projects meeting the interests and the needs of their communities.

Partnerships for Every Child is implementing the project “Children in Moldova are cared for in safe and secure families” funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) that will last till June, 2017 and has the a goal to improve the safety, wellbeing and development of highly vulnerable children, particularly those who are living without adequate family care.
