The PANDA Program supporting families affected by alcohol
12/01/2025
With the support of UNICEF, specialists from three Territorial Social Assistance Agencies in the Republic of Moldova have been trained as facilitators of the PANDA Program – an educational and therapeutic program that provides support to children and parents from families affected by alcohol consumption. Following the training, the facilitators organized nine program groups, helping children express their emotions, rebuild self-confidence, and supporting parents in finding solutions and restoring family relationships. The program also works to prevent alcohol use among children.
The results are remarkable: stronger families, improved relationships, and hope for a better future!
This program provides an opportunity to heal the wounds caused by alcoholism and give children the chance to enjoy a happier childhood. Together, we can contribute to children’s wellbeing and strengthen family resilience.
